Application of Breathing Exercises Using Ida Jean Orlando’s Dynamic Nurse-Patient Relationship Model in Overcoming Postoperative Hypoxia (POH) after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: A Case-Series

Background: Postoperative hypoxia (POH) is a complication that often occurs in patients after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG). Breathing exercises are considered effective overcoming POH CABG. However, this intervention has not been implemented using the dynamic nurse-patient relationship model from Ida Jean Orlando. The expected to improve quality of nursing care cardiac surgery.Purpose: This study aimed describe application breathing postoperative CABG model.Methods: was summary case presentation along with interventions on three through approach main focusing exercises.Results: After days implementing intervention, most showed improvement POH. condition evidenced by an increase PaO2/FiO2 ratio less than 200 above 200, average 89.3. blood gas analysis results supported respiratory alkalosis normal PH and PaCO2 value <35 mmHg range (35-45 mmHg). Also, X-rays pulmonary atelectasis improvement.Conclusion:Applying can post-cardiac surgery patients. We recommend theory because see patients’ psychological physical changes dynamically post-CABG
